This annual four day outdoor music festival has been showcasing not only folk performers since 1980, but bluegrass, celtic, roots, and worldbeat acts alike take the stage at Gallagher Park. With the eclectic blend of genres, this textile inspired concept came to life. In the search for a t-shirt design to present to the artists performing at the 2016 event, and working alongside the artist liaison, I submitted this inclusive typographic concept for consideration.
Ultimately going in a different direction; rearticulating the four musicians/characters that compose the logo into a 20×16 (2016) pattern, this typographic concept was too loved not to showcase here.
