Sometime in the 90’s Summer Villages ceased to be allowed to form, however those few established communities already under this title were permitted to remain. A truly unique concept. Lake life at it’s finest – year round for some, but with the majority of the residents of Bonnyville Beach being seasonal and local visitors frequenting the shores in summer, bearing witness to stunning sunsets and where the water is ever busy with lake-goers. From canoers to sailors, snorkelers to spear fisherman, birds to bears.
Whilst nostalgically keeping the theme from the original logo, the new badge embodies both the unique history of the Summer Village itself alongside the beautiful setting of the area. One of the main celebrations the Summer Village organizes is the anniversary of the beach, with the 60th anniversary in mind when this logo was penned the concept allowed for the accompaniment of such an addition. The overall sunset shape makes way for the logo to be placed overtop of those supplementary designs honouring these occasions – much alike a sunset over the beloved Moose Lake.
“Having witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets around the world, they have yet to beat a Moose Lake sunset viewed from Bonnyville Beach.”
